It's time to replace a printer here which is a Samsung SCX-3405 wireless scan + b/w laser printer. HP bought Samsung printing a while back and I don't care for HP consumer level products. I hear great things about Brother.

Here's what I'd like to end up with...

Must have: - Integrated print server - wireless networking - b/w laser printing

Nice to have: - ethernet - duplex printing - integrated power supply (no power brick for the printer)

Could have: - scanner - color ( I won't disqualify for color if it's a good fit, but don't want it)

Must not have: - HP logo or HP printer with different branding

Every IT bro I've ever asked have said to just purchase a brother. Find yourself a brother brand printer with the specs you laid out and go with it. That brand has, by far, the least issues with integration and will work most repeatably for the longest

Exactly what I'm reading. Maybe this is brother guerilla marketing. Or gorilla marketing.

I also own a Brother and it has given me zero problems since I purchased it
