Damn, That is impressive.

I had thought about something like this too but using the harddrive at the top of the stack as a dummy, removing all of its parts and putting thermite in it with a way to trigger it, that way when it burns up the slag falls onto all of the other drives below it and kills them.

That was my idea as well. I'd be going through a lot of computers though...lol

Seems like maybe we have read some of the same "forbidden" or "banned" texts of our time. Good on you.

Nope. Thought of it on my own while trying to stay awake on Duty just before the sun started to creep over the horizon...

I've toyed with this very idea. Not sure how to implement plus if an alphabet agency took this PC to the office they would have had time to disarm it.

There's mercury switches inside older thermostats. Like you'd find in the living room of an older home. (Never saw the inside of a modern thermostat.) Set it up for movement. Hard drive moves, it'll need to be disarmed. Something like that. But, before you do something like that, read my disclaimer to the alphabet soup agencies, below:

Note to the glowniggers. I do not play with things that go boom. I have zero interest in loosing my fingers, hands, eyes, etc.
