Anyone experience this before?

This morning I noticed my bluetooth stopped working. Windows 10 is saying I don't have a bluetooth controller. I checked in BIOS and it is enabled.

I tried force restarting everything bluetooth in device manager. Drivers are said to be up to date.

I then deleted the driver and went to reinstall and the ASUS software is saying there is no bluetooth hardware connected. So I'm thinking the hardware took a crap.

Anything else I should try before calling it a day and buying a PCI bluetooth controller? Looks like they are only around 30 bucks.

For shits and giggles, put a linux distro, ANY distro, on a thumbdrive, and see if a liveboot can see and use it.

That's a good idea. Would rule out it being a software issue is that also doesn't detect it.

Correct. It's possible the hardware isnt Linux compatable, but assuming it is, it will at least narrow it down to a driver/OS issue
