Ok I have bought several different ones, yes I know about the unlock. I also know some say to put tape over the notch on the other side. Windows wouldnt let me do shit with them. So I thought fuckin linux. Linux at least let me format it so I thought that was it. Linux recognizes it but I cant do anything with it. Neither does windows, wtf? I bought a tablet predominantly for a power outage so I could still watch something but I cant upload to any sd card. What do I do?

It could be that your sd cards are counterfeit. It's a bigger problem than most people realize. When I get a new storage device I first run f3 on it (f3write then f3read) then I run "badblocks -wvs" on it. If it's large (over about 16GB) i have a script that periodically pauses the process so the card doesn't heat up too much.
