Ok I have bought several different ones, yes I know about the unlock. I also know some say to put tape over the notch on the other side. Windows wouldnt let me do shit with them. So I thought fuckin linux. Linux at least let me format it so I thought that was it. Linux recognizes it but I cant do anything with it. Neither does windows, wtf? I bought a tablet predominantly for a power outage so I could still watch something but I cant upload to any sd card. What do I do?

link to something like the sdcard you are attempting to use?

If its the most recent stuff, MicroSD. There is nothing to tape or anything. If you are using one of those sd to micro adapters. it may be the adapter.

A tablet will usually format the sd card itself once you put it in.

the last one I bought is a samsung pro plus. No micro involved. No adapter.

offf. I havent had to use one of those for anything for a long while. outside of the write protection switch. no idea other then firmware of the reader will not read that card for some reason. I have seen issues with size as fairly common. where they will not read cards above some certain size properly.

actually all my others were micro with different adapters, I would have to dig them out somewhere since moving. Thats why I tried this one out of desperation.
