Many Poalsters are advanced computer gurus. Do you have a solution for this latest predicament?

Microsoft is more desperate than ever to log every last computer on earth into an online Microsoft account, before activating Windows. Then, after you're branded like a cow, you can exit S mode and bypass the Microsoft account. But the damage is done to your privacy.

Tutorials from only a few weeks ago instructed you to type Shift + F10 for a command prompt. From there you could bypass Microsoft's Out-Of-Box-Experience (oobe) to activate Windows 11 Home Edition. Microsoft has apparently just eliminated that loophole.

I downloaded a program to a bootable USB drive. That didn't work either.

Help me out here, if you can. Thanks.

You KNOW someone was gonna ask this....why aren't you using Linux?

[–] 2 pts

yeah, yeah, I know. I keep saying someday. I used to use a computer with NO HARD DRIVE at all to access the internet. I used a Linux boot disk. If anything went wrong, I just turned it off and started it up again. This new computer was purchased with the intention of remaining an internet virgin for all my offline work. And now, the first thing out of the box is a demand to violate its virginity.

Welp...then you know whats coming next:

Linux, fool!

I feel so dirty

I didn't know anyone was using Windows 11.

I have not used Windows 11 but found these links with two different methods. I have no idea if the methods work but the articles are both pretty recent.

https://geekermag.com/windows-11-bypass-microsoft-account-in-setup/

Here, you need to press the SHIFT + F10 key combination to launch the Command prompt. Here, you need to type this command: OOBE\BYPASSNRO and hit enter.

Your system will restart automatically and you need to set up everything again.

This time, if you click on the Sign in button. You will be asked to enter your name. Here if you take a look at the bottom of this field, you will see a note that, Even better, use an online account. This confirms that you have successfully bypassed the Microsoft account screen.

Step 10: When you see the Let’s start with region screen, press Shift + F10 on your keyboard. This will open a command prompt window.

Step 11: In the command prompt window, type netsh wlan disconnect and press Enter. This will disconnect your computer from any wireless network.

Step 12: Close the command prompt window and continue with the setup process.

Step 13: When you see the Sign in with Microsoft screen, click Sign-in options at the bottom left corner.

Step 14: Click Offline account.

Step 15: Click Limited experience.

if you are only concerned about getting a local account then just put in a fake email or phone number several times and it will let you setup with a local account.

Thanks, but it appears that both of those methods use the Shift + F10 command prompt. That is now disabled.

maybe try to disconnect the computer from internet, seems that was mentioned as an option too somewhere

or this (1 year old method though)

https://rufus.ie/en/

Use Rufus to make a USB from the Windows ISO. There are options to bypass TPM, Secure Boot, and MS account sign in.

EDIT: I also use a KMS emulator to bypass licensing requirements.

EDIT2: After reading your comments, just use Linux man. Unless, you just need Windows for some jackass program written by a farm of habeebs using some hacky obscure function calls that wine can't handle yet.

does wine run adobe suite?

[–] 0 pt

...And that would be the habeeb code farm garbage I was referring to. So, no. That seems to be the huge one everybody wants to run but just doesn't or doesn't worth a damn.

If this computer is for offline use only as you said, then you don't need any bypass at all. Unhook the fucking thing from the internet before you set it up and never give it internet again. Local account. Done. Microsoft bypassed. Install software from a usb downloaded from a different PC.

[–] 0 pt

Tried exactly that. But in just the past few weeks, programming has changed to prevent loading from a usb or using a command prompt to bypass MS. Maybe I can go back after the fact and re-install, but that seems the only option

By installing Linux.
