With Intel still upgrading it's fabs, due to it's poorly designed earlier 10nm process, will they have the capacity to add an entirely new line of products? Using partners, like the article mentioed but Intel ignored, is one way to grow market share without building out expensive new production lines. I hope they stay the hell away from China.
I agree. I think it may be about getting relief from partnerships with AMD to adapt to their current constraints better on existing FABs. The graphics part this revolves around.
