Supposedly, AMD works better using AMD, but I don't think it makes an appreciable difference, no. I'm on an Intel/AMD crossover right now. Granted, the processor is from 2011, but I haven't had any compatibility issues, and the bottleneck for my games is the GPU and not the processor, so the CPU is using the GPU well.

Of course. The top end is the rx6900xt series. I read the RX7000 is coming out "soon" but not sure when. The 6900 prices are dropping quickly though because of all the 30xx fanbois.
