It would probably be better to say this is a modern, ARM core based machine that boots into BASIC like an old micro. Technically, the Acorn Archimedes, running an ARM-1, also had BASIC as a programming language, and there are several variants of the language available on modern SBCs.

Those are neat little machines, I tried to find a use case for one but eh...Python on a Pi does what I need.
