Why is Ayn Rand hated? Was she wrong?
She's hated by globohomos because she's anti-communist.
Seems a strong point of division here on Poal
There are two reasons for that:
1) She was an individualist who was explicitly opposed to all forms of collectivism. That upsets the Poalers who hate international socialism, but are gung ho for the national variety. She'd correctly point out that either is going to steal your stuff and get you killed in a war, one just does it for your local dictator instead of a million petty dictators on every streetcorner.
2) She was ethnically Jewish. Though an avowed atheist who fled the USSR for the capitalist mecca of 1920s seems a far cry from the usual tropes. Particularly given her decades of railing against religion, government, and alphabets.
Personally I'd most strongly criticize her for her romantic choices, but I doubt Poal would much care about that.
She is hated because she was a dumb bimbo who never said anything that made sense and all her ideas are retarded, and all objectivists should be exiled to Australia.
She was a self absorbed pretentious cow and believed psychopathy/narcissism was a viable moral code.
Was she wrong?
No, but actually yes. It all depends on there not being some shabbos goy willing to keep the wheels turning just enough, in exchange for a few shekels. It also ignores the masses of useful idiots their masters can direct against anyone who tries to evade The System.
As mentioned elsewhere, she was jewish, and like all jews, she suffered from Main Character Syndrome. She thought of these important people as literally irreplaceable, instead of merely very hard to replace.
Jewish so people use that to disregard her work. Her views on women and sex are also not traditional and people do not like that.
