I wouldnt call them great. Held together with juryrigged parts for decades.
I live in the rust belt of Maine where Toyota Tacoma frames can rot out in 10 years. Those old cuban bondo buckets still look great ... they have solid frames and mostly solid body panels. The jerryrigging can be replaced with new parts if necessary. Cuba couldn't get parts because we cut them off from trade access in the early 1960s. Any similar aged vehicle in Maine most likely rotted out long ago.
