Purely unconstitutional. It might pass but will be killed.
The authors of the bill know this and will face zero repercussions.
Maybe not if we find out where they live. And where their kids go to school. And where their loved ones work. And where their extended families live. Maybe not.
There’s only one thing which stops these things. Only one thing they truly understand.
I've been arguing for a minute that this is what needs to change: we need to implement something where anytime a politician attempts to pass something deemed unconstitutional, they get penalized, disbarred, removed from office, etc..
Hit them financially, if a law they authored gets passed and is later found to be unconstitutional slap them with a $1000 fine per occurrence. Each occurrence would be a person affected by their law. If they author a law that isn't passed on the grounds of constitutionality, bump it to $50,000.
