I can see owners ensuring room prices instantly going up to cover damage and bleed the govt system. Literally a full booking 7 days a week, but now need on site security to get them the fck out in the morning and do a bag check. Govt will then respond by setting a low ball median price for vacant rooms, just lol. Total shitshow.

The easy way out of this is to give available rooms to guests beside the rooms already for free as a "bonus" or change the status of the room to unavailable as it needs cleaning or repairs of some sort like changing the batteries in the remote. Either is a better alternative than having some shit head in your room who will wreck the room and the ambiance of the entire hotel for your valued guests.

The Indians and jews will find some loophole to it. Have all of the staff/family/friends book the vacant rooms for free or something. Allow guests that have vacant rooms next to them have both rooms for the same price.
