The push to electric vehicles was never supposed to result in mass ownership of electric vehicles. It is designed, from the outset, to usher in the end of private vehicle ownership.
People would never voluntarily give up their ICE cars, so the "cLiMaTe CaTaStRoPhE!" was used as a pretext to switch to electric vehicles/ Then, to "save the werld" they would need to ban ICE vehicles (by forbidding the small number of companies who make them from selling them). But, the amount of power required to run electric vehicles at anything close to what people are used to with ICE vehicles is just not available. It never was, and they knew it from the start. Because the plan has always been to kill of the vast majority of the population, herd the remainder into small crowded cities in which their movement will be closely monitored and controlled (like a prison) and only allow the "elites" to use pretty much whatever transportation they want to travel out of the cities and enjoy the vast wilderness, unspoiled by pesky people who might want to do other things, like grow food to feed their families.

what kills me over all this is that all these moronic mandates are government imposed... in a country that calls itself capitalist. the government has been bought by globalist cocksuckers who are using it to mandate terrible policies for the average person. who voted to shut down oil/coal/gas plants? who voted for open borders? who voted to allow children to be mutilated?
