It took @TESTEFY-HD, Soy Rage, Well Read User and @VIkkiVerse to ask hard questions as the pair of you just listened and believed while nodding like a pair of bobbleheads. Afterlife With Nasser #55 The stream opens up with Nasser and Martina Markota before they are both joined by Soy Rage at just over the four minute mark, the opening mostly involved light-heartened jokes from Soy at Nasser's expense. During the opening we get Soy Rage both tormenting Nasser and low key trolling Martina as he brings up various topics, such as Martina's husband making money on Blackberry stocks thanks to the recent Game Stonk phenomena gripping the US markets. ASYL artist Vic King joins the panel at close to the nine minute mark but doesn't really have much to stay and largely remains silent. It isn't until the twelve minute mark that the topic of todays stream Lady Alchemy and the drama surrounding is finally broached by Nasser, asking Martina the origins of the idea. What follows is a glorious trashfire which stems from the tag team duo of Testefy and VikkiVerse asking legitimate questions bullying Martina from the chat, while Martina's husband Jack Buckby chimes in occasionally from off camera to defend his wife. Jon Del Arroz/TheCosmicWarrior joins the panel at close to the forty minute mark and later Testefy would briefly join at the one hour fourteen minute mark. Jon would later leave at the one hour sixteen minute mark to join a Super Bowl party and that concludes the line up of guests on the close to two hour stream. Instead of writing a long and tedious write up, instead I thought I'd focus on certain things Martina claims and lets slip, while offering counter evidence below. 16:20 Martina states that the person who had the idea for Lady Alchemy, her artist Maz, is far-right and wanted "Lady Alchemy fighting Moloch in Israel and wanted Nazi's in the book" which according to her own evidence was a suggestion from the writer Christopher Speidel/CS and not Maz. script1.png The exact quote is "Book 5 is Germany, we get to play around with Nazis... And Book 10 is Israel where she has her final battle with the Ancient Owl God Moloch, the god of child sacrifice." While on the surface this might raise a few eyebrows, there is nothing inherently wrong with either suggestion. Numerous super heroes like Captain America "played around" with Nazi's in comic books, there's nothing to suggest the book would become an ode to Mein Kampf. 21:50 Nasser reads a question from The Trash Compactor Show asking about the details surrounding any contracts with the individuals Martina was previously involved with. testt.PNG Martina maintains that this person (Maz) "refused to sign a contract" and states that a contract is irrelevant since she ceased using his artwork, which is false according to the archives of the previous campaign pages. Spoiler: CAMPAIGN ARTWORK COMPARISONS Now it could be argued that since Martina paid Maz for this artwork it is her property, however she verbally states on the stream with Nasser that she "doesn't want his art" which could be seen as her relinquishing ownership. In addition since no contract exists between the two parties, it is ambiguous who the owner is. Martina does argue however she meets three standards for "implied license" since she did commission the artwork. Martina and Vic King take the time to dunk on Maz for "tracing photos for the artwork" completely oblivious to the fact that it was Martina sending him photos deliberately to trace in the first place. It is ironic she had no problem with tracing being used in her book when she was on good terms with Maz, but now it's a problem since their business relationship fell apart. 25:19 Soy Rage asks in response to Martina if this Maz was on a team, Martina states "as far as I know he was not on a team or anything" when discussing the ownership of the Indiegogo campaign profile. This is disputed by Maz who claims that he created the Indiegogo profile, Martina changed passwords to the account and locked him out, he also claims he was responsible for shipping the extras like T-Shirts and Posters which would have required backer information to do so. 37:37 Martina is asked by Testefy when she received the Indiegogo money from the campaign, which would have been the 25K the campaign entered in-demand with. ttt2.PNG Martina answers "in 2018" so we know she would have received at least the initial 25K within 9 days of the campaign ending back during 2018, before her bank account with Chase was closed in 2019 due to her political associations. 38:10 We can hear Martina's husband Jack blowing up about a comment VikkiVerse leaves in the chat, stating that the original campaign listed that the book was "created by all three of them". vv4.PNG Martina states "I have no idea who Chris is" yet according to her own evidence she has multiple emails with a Chris Speidel and multiple skype calls. Spoiler: Martina and Chris Martina then doubles down and states "and you know what, even if you claim which is not true, even if you claim there was a Maz and Chris on the original campaign BOO fucking HOO." Unfortunately this Bounding Into Comics [archive] article disproves Martina once again. lad.PNG 40:13 Martina goes into a tirade about how Vikki has been stalking her and is clearly "talking to Moz the neo-nazi.. and side with literal anti-semites who wanted to make Lady Alchemy play around with nazis in Germany in book 10 and go to Israel and fight Moloch" why you siding with nazis @VIkkiVerse? As I previously pointed out "playing around with nazis" is pretty ambiguous and I assume they would have been the villains of book 5 as Indiegogo would yeet that campaign faster than Martina brags about being on a billboard. As for Moloch being some anti-semitic trope, it is well known that child sacrifice was associated with this biblical figure and fallen Angel in Abrahamic scripture. Given that Israel is the holy land for Jews, Christians and Muslims, the setting wouldn't be that out of place. I'm not convinced that a man named Maziar Golestanehzadeh would be a white supremacist anymore than a man named Jon Del Arroz, and judging from his pigmentation he doesn't appear to be the nazi's desired demographic. maz.PNG Unless Martina can show evidence of Maz and Chris reciting the 14 words while jack booting around the streets waving their tiki torches in boogaloo gear, I'm remaining skeptical on this one. 40:48 Jon then segues off to gaslight Vikki for asking questions comparing himself to Martina, stating that Vikki was his friend but they had a falling out due to Jon patching things up with Ethan. This is of course false as Vikki and Jon's falling out was before Jon patched things up and was due to him labelling NAP Misfit as a pedophile. Nice try Jon... :lit: 45:45 Nasser very naively defends Martina from Vikki's accusations that Martina is grifting, stating that "Martina would have just run off with the money" ignoring the fact the only reason she has recently popped back up in Comicsgate is because she needs more money. Perhaps Comicsgate should have launched a GFM for Cridious to fight Preston for the CG trademark afterall aye Nasser? ;) Nasser also points out that Martina has already fulfilled aspects of the campaign, unaware it was actually Maz who fulfilled the posters and t-shirts himself. 50:40 Soy Rage asks Martina for clarification on whether any of this GFM money will be going towards fulfilling the Lady Alchemy book rather than the lawsuit. Martina denies this but admits that she made a mistake during calculating shipping costs, namely international and "doesn't have the money for shipping." Martina promises that she will ship out of her own funds and will fulfill the book out of her own pocket and that she has "lost money" on this, something which I highly doubt. 53:21 Martina doubles down on Vikki again accusing her of siding with neo-nazi's and blaming her (Martina) the "real victim in all this." I do find it somewhat humorous that Martina is accusing overweight spic's of being neo-nazi's given her choice for a husband. 56:41 Martina claims she was unhappy with the quality of Maz's artwork, when her own evidence proves this is again false. Spoiler: MARTINA APPROVING OF MAZ'S ARTWORK 1:01:03 The topic of shipping comes up again and Martina claims she will get a job, stream everyday, sell stuff and do whatever it takes to fulfill the book which leads me to believe much like Detective Dead that the money is gone. Martina claims shipping is $3.15/book and she charged $7 for shipping on her campaign. No one on the panel even thinks to question Martina on the "tens of thousands in merch" when again according to her own evidence she was billed $2000 for posters and $600 for stickers. Spoiler: LYING CUNT Those T-Shirts must be really comfortable for costing Martina "tens of thousands" of dollars. 1:12:00 We are treated to Martina sperging the fuck out at Vikki calling her a retard, doubting whether Vikki can do long division and asks if Vikki is collecting disability welfare. I highly recommend watching this segment, congrats Vikki! :lit: 1:13:40 Testefy joins and proceeds to shit all over Martina another high recommend for this segment. :lit: 1:14:50 Jack and Martina maintain that they were "scammed" by the previous artist (Maz) despite earning over 48K for Lady Alchemy and paying him less than 10% of what the campaign earnt. 1:24:00 Martina again lies stating that the emails she received from Chris and Maz that were featured here and emailed back in late December 2019 were released AFTER they appeared on the Dick Show. This is clearly a lie as their appearance on the Dick Show was during late March of 2020 with Doug TenNapel as he was crowdfunding Bigfoot Bill 2. 1:40:32 Nasser is asked by Soy Rage for his assessment on the situation and Nasser brings up his history with Donal as a similar situation. Nasser however doesn't seem to understand that in this situation Maz would be him and Martina would be Donal. 1:45:00 Martina states that not only is this a copyright/trademark issue and mentions that she is also being sued for "severe emotional distress" by Maz in the lawsuit. TLDR​ Martina by her own evidence lied and contradicted herself multiple times throughout the Nasser stream and yet neither @NasserRabadi13 nor @TheCosmicWarrior could pick up on it. This interview was made great from the collective efforts of Vikki, Testefy, Well Read User and Soy Rage who asked legitimate questions only to trigger absurd outbursts and doublespeak for answers. These Maz and Chris individuals clearly are using this lawsuit for some malicious outcome but in all honesty Martina herself comes across just as shady. Nasser and Jon, your kiwi credentials are hereby revoked until you can learn to ask a fucking question and think critically instead of just bobbing along like a pair of star-struck simps. You seriously let this chick walk all over your platforms, blatantly lying to your viewers so she can milk them out of more money.
