I see they have some publishers that have pride variant covers yet all the covers I see that have women are good looking, white, thin, no tattoos, long hair. They are the stereo typical good looking women. I haven't seen a black female character yet. Oh, now I found a black Nubia character.

Interesting the black panther comics seem to be heavily discounted.

The part that disappoints me is character replacement in comics. Storytelling is limitless, and we've seen strong characters across the spectrum for decades. When done correctly (Storm, Static, Daredevil, professor X) - I never saw these characters as anything but superheroes.

Character replacement is lazy virtue signaling at best, get some new content creators and develop proper story arc first, fitting characters in at the right time and without fanfare about the market group your targeting.
