How long did it take you to get decent with mandarin? I’m thinking I’m gonna need at least 3k hours before I’m even a quarter-way competent.

Can confirm Korean is super easy. Easier than english.

Lived in Korea for 3 years. Learned their 'alphabet' so I could read the roads signs, and find my way home.
