You’ve been told your whole life they were a terrible monster. You were taught to never talk to them. You remember as a child how your irrational fear of them would cause minor anxiety attacks.
But over the years you got used to their presence. They were simply always there and slowly became less and less intimidating. They didn’t seem to actually be that dangerous.
And then one day you did some thing irrational. You just sort of snapped and stared into the monsters eyes and said “What are we?”
The monster gave you an answer.
Now you are obligated to tell everyone that Hitler Did Nothing Wrong.
