County commissioners voted unanimously at Thursday's meeting to place the Brighter Start Boulder County measure on the Nov. 3 ballot.
If approved, the measure would add 2.579 mills to the county property tax rate beginning Jan. 1, 2027. That comes to about $16 a year for every $100,000 of a home’s actual value, or roughly $80 annually for a $500,000 home.
