>A teenager was ticketed and had his minibike towed after eluding police in Brighton, according to a post on X from the Brighton Police Department.
“What happens when you elude our officers on a minibike? Your ride is getting towed,” said the department in the post.
After failing to elude the police, the teen was pulled over and received a ticket for eluding and careless driving.
Across the Denver metro area and neighboring communities, law enforcement continues to crack down on illegal bike riding, with modified e-bikes and other illegal street bike variations at the center of the issue.
