A post by the Aurora Police Department stated the officers lost sight of the group, but real-time information center cameras kept track of the group.
They were spotted on East Colfax between North Airport Boulevard and E-470 on Feb. 23.
At one point, they pulled into a convenience store near East Colfax and Dunkirk Street.
