The Aurora Police Department Major Crimes Homicide said Friday that members of the Salt Lake City FBI Field Office and the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team arrested the suspect, identified as Eric Douglas, in Sigurd, Utah. Douglas, 32, is accused of shooting a woman in the northern end of a parking lot in the 1200 block of South Havana Street on Tuesday. The victim was taken to a hospital, where she later died. APD said Douglas was arrested on charges of first degree murder, second degree murder and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
