Rustlering still a thing?
Well, if someone staels your liveztock it's still called rustling. 15 head of cattle: Heifers- not bred yet, but how to grow a herd. Cows- proven mamas, take care of calves, steady breeders. Bulls- new genetic mix to grow your herd. Steers- raise for the beef. 20 months, good feed, no chemicals- 800 lbs. of meat. Steal 'em, go to market- say 5$ lb. X 15 cows/ 1200 lbs. avg. ....do the math.
You sound quite knowledgeable on this subject.
Oh yeah. Happens all the time in Missouri still. Not the whole herd, but anywhere up to 20 head at a time - whatever they can fit in their stock trailer.
I didn't know that. I figured that RFID the cattle nowadays or some GPS stuff. If this IT things fall through I'll be a cattle rustler. Yeah.
