If you have never driven Trail Ridge you probably should. It is stupid high up (over 12k ft) and there are drop off's that are probably over 1k+ feet. Its crazy.

They closed it last month for a small amount of snow at very high elevations. They wouldn’t reopen it because of the shutdown, saying they didn’t have plow drivers, but it would have melted off in a day because we’ve had unseasonably warm weather and lots of sunshine, yet they left the gates open so people could come in w/o a pass or reservation. They just did it to inconvenience people. They don’t want us to use OUR public lands.

There are a fuck load of non-Americans and commiefornias that have come into Commierado.

What do you expect? At this point I would just say "fuck them, let them die. They can end up on ". I am so done with morons that do a dumb and expect people like us to save them. Fuck that. If they are that stupid they should not exist.
