That sucks, I wonder what happened. Maybe exposure? Maybe they offed each other? No details yet.

From the post:

>The bodies of two hunters who went missing in southern Colorado last week have been found, family members said. According to the Conejos County Sheriff's Office, 25-year-old Andrew Porter from Asheville, North Carolina, and 25-year-old Ian Stasko from Salt Lake City, Utah, went missing near the Rio de los Pinos Trailhead while hunting elk. Porter's aunt, Lynne Runkle, said the two had not been heard from since Sept. 11, and their satellite device was not working.

That's fucked. I have to assume you are out south east somewhere? Or you know... Some very other specific parts around a few major "blue" metro.

There is shit like that near where I am. We don't bother to hike in the area anymore. Too many people and too many crazies. When we get the fuck out of this hellhole maybe ill be able to take some good pics that don't include a bunch of meth heads hiding in the woods and random needles.

PNW, way away from Portland and blue areas. In the foot hills of the coast range, extremely isolated, only a few shacks on private land the timber company sold but the rest is state and timber company land but it’s beautiful.

They’re like those inbred hillbilly psychos “who handle their own problems”, even the rural county police don’t go out there.

Did you ever hear the famous story of the two hunters in Michigan who pissed off the hillbilly clan at the local bar and got beaten and supposedly feed to the pigs or buried somewhere. It took years and people moving away to feel safe to say what happened and for them to get convicted.

That’s these people.

Yeah, that story sounds very familiar. Also, that would have been my second guess (location).
