Someone walking on an open space trail near 122nd Avenue and Park Centre Drive came across the bone at 2:30 p.m., the Westminster Police Department said on social media. Investigators brought in a cadaver dog from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office to help with the search, but no additional remains have been found. Police are still determining the age of the bone.
