Investigators believe the suspect, Miguel Borja, 24, intentionally caused the explosion after he had barricaded himself inside the house in Monument, the sheriff's office said in a news release. About 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Monument Police officers responded to the house at 42 Front Street for a report of a family disturbance. Due to previous incidents involving Borja, El Paso County deputies were requested to assist.
