I am tired of this commie shit. Some people are not able bodied and do not apply to this. If you are telling me that a MILLION able bodied under 65 are just refusing to work and still have Medicaid? I am not happy about that. If you can't then fine. If you WONT? Fuck off.

From the post:

>In a move that could impact both healthcare access and employment, House Republicans are proposing a tax bill that includes substantial cuts to Medicaid, potentially affecting millions of Americans who rely on the safety net program. Approximately 80 million adults and children across the U.S. are currently enrolled in Medicaid. The Republican plan, aimed at reducing federal spending to pay for President Trump's tax cuts, could leave an estimated 8.5 million people nationwide without coverage. The proposed legislation would require Medicaid recipients under age 65 to prove they work or participate in community engagement for at least 20 hours weekly to maintain their benefits. This requirement could have far-reaching consequences for vulnerable populations, including individuals with disabilities who may not meet the threshold.

Democrats might have a point if it was difficult to find work, but everywhere needs entry-level people.

You hear that? That's the sound of "Community Engagement Programs" being set up to grift the system.

That's why the requirement is either 20 hours of work or 20 hours of "community engagement" per week. You could volunteer to pick up trash, take care of animals at a shelter, read to youth/seniors at the library, etc...

It's basically "If you are able, you have to do SOMETHING". I don't see a problem with this if you are on benefits and are able bodied.

Like stupid bird mentioned though there will be ways to scam that.
