Brighton officers found two bodies in an alley behind a home in the 100 block of North 7th Avenue at about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, the police department said in a news release. Both people, who have not been publicly identified, had been shot, police said. Witnesses told officers that they heard multiple gunshots before a dark-colored sedan fled the area, according to the release. As of Thursday morning, no suspects had been identified and no arrests had been made. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
