The fire was reported around 2:15 p.m. near the intersection of South Potomac Street and East Jewell Avenue, according to Aurora Fire Rescue. Firefighters arrived to find flames reaching up to 20 feet tall covering an area roughly the size of a football field. The department said it deployed 25 fire units, including mutual aid from South Metro Fire Rescue.
