The Aurora Police Department said officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 10800 block of East Bethany Drive at about 9:45 p.m. The area is north of Cherry Creek Reservoir. When officers arrived in the business district, they located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was taken to the hospital with what police called life-threatening injuries.
