Govt going for another money grab by increasing taxes on tourists, our largest industry. Property taxes are unreal, they’ve doubled in the last 4 years, but they always need more. Now they’re putting it towards stupid shit, like day care and affordable housing. Nothing in a resort area is affordable, and this increase in taxes won’t even find a single house in the next 2 years, it would take 15 years to build a small apartment complex but it’ll turn plenty of tourists off and they’ll go to Utah or Wyoming instead.
