Cry more faggots. I worked long enough in government to know that the majority of you do fuck-all on a daily basis anyway. There are like maybe 1-5% that carry the weight of the rest of you and you fucking know it too. I could not stand that shit and was tired of being in the "group that gets shit done" and went back to private. At least in private that group is more like 20%-ish.

Why is there even something called "civil service protection" that makes it damn near impossible to fire them? We don't have that in the private world other than contracts and unless you are very high up most companies obviously refuse to have contracts like that.

From the post:

>A number of Internal Revenue Service in Denver are being let go as part of mass layoffs across the country Thursday. The IRS fired 6,700 employees nationwide on Thursday, a government official told NewsNation. The layoffs are part of the Trump administration’s intensified efforts to shrink the federal workforce by laying off nearly all probationary employees who have not yet gained civil service protection.

They do. The deal is that everyone is given something like 8 months of pay and benefits and after that they can still apply for unemployment for at least another 8 months (which in Colorado is almost NEVER denied).

They are basically being given 16 months of pay to fuck off and do whatever they want. If I was a fed I would take the deal in 5 seconds while going back to private after taking 2 months off.

I got tired of gov work and I am already in private. I saw so much waste and corruption I was not willing to work there anymore.
