Just letting you know where to stop shopping (at least for a couple of weeks). In case you have never looked into it. Grocery stores have a similar margin to restaurants. When the whole staff says they want to get paid $50k/yr+ with benefits for jobs that are mostly intended to be for people starting out in their work life things don't line up. You can be replaced by a bored high school kid that wants some extra cash. You don't really have a lot of room to demand things. I understand it when you have worked somewhere a long time and work up the levels, that is different.

This is a reminder. The minimum wage is $0. These jobs are not intended to be careers. That is all.
