Take a good, long hard look at Canada if you want to know what legalization will bring you. It’s really bad in a lot of ways but if you think people are lazy, lethargic, apathetic now just wait until they’re burned out after a few years. The younger gen has absolutely zero social skills to the point of them having breakdowns in staff meetings or when taking courses and having to introduce oneself to the class. I was on a refresher first aid course last month and even the people my age (mid 30’s) were taking puffs in the parking lot and coming into the class zombied out, useless for the rest of the day. It’s heartbreaking to be honest because now when I’m in a remote area drilling and there’s only four of us I find myself really scrutinizing who I’m with and basically either writing them off in my mind as potential handicaps or just having zero trust in them being able to help me if something happens.
