It’s never enough. TABOR allows for normal increases, due to higher population and inflation. These people want to take more because you can’t make a killing off giving your buddies grift contacts if they don’t get paid an obscene about to do a normal thing. You need a building painted or stained? If you’re the government it’ll cost $150,000 instead of $2,000, because how else are you going to get kickbacks and grease your buddy’s palm enough that he’ll keep you in the pork business.
