Never have tried them. Some people say they are good, it just does not sound like something I'm interested in.

From the post:

>On some restaurant menus in Colorado, you’ll find one of the state’s most iconic dishes — Rocky Mountain oysters. While these land oysters are harder to come by in this century, years ago, they were considered a popular bar food with ties back to cowboys in the 1800s.

Cows don't have balls...

What kind of cows are you talking about? All of the male cows sure do have balls/testicles. You just cut them off all of the males you don't want breeding with the rest of the heard. Its real fun. /s

You usually do it at a branding when they are yearlings or younger.

A cow is a female bovine... A bull is a male bovine...

A steer is a castrated male bovine...

There is no such thing as a male cow...

Branding is rare today, most people use ear tags now...

Right, I guess if you want to be specific that is correct, most people are not aware of the difference thus the "cow".

Also, The ear tag thing may be true in some places but at least in the general area I am familiar with branding + ear tag are still done basically everywhere.

A cow is a female bovine and they don't have testicles. Calling a male a cow is like calling a female human a male woman...
