We have a lot of those blonde or cinnamon bears here, most are black, but I’ve even seen a brown & black one (but only one). The species is black bear, but at least around here they come in multiple colors. I’d hope they let him keep the carcass, but depending on what he’s eating the meat may not be good. I’ve heard that if they eat a lot of meat it turns their meat foul.
