No, I don't think im for this one. This one only will give "free college" to families earning less than 90k/yr. If you are going to pass something like this, it should be for everyone and it should NOT apply to four-year universities. This is just going to drive the cost of education up even more again since its "free money from the state".

From the post:

>A bipartisan bill that would reduce the cost of college is headed for Gov. Jared Polis’ signature. House Bill 24-1340 will offer two years of free college for Colorado families earning less than $90,000 annually. It would apply to community colleges, technical colleges and four-year universities.

Great, they’ve just devalued the education of everyone who ever went to community college. High school graduation means nothing anymore, so they’re moving to devalue associate degrees. But these kids today can’t perform as well as jr. high school kids from 40 years ago, or grammar school kids from 70 years ago. Yes, they can scroll tiktok, but can’t do math or understand science.

40 years? Try 10. It's insane how bad it's gotten. American kids want to be 'influencers', Chinese kids want to be engineers and astronauts.

Pathetic.
