Not really. They were "hunted" to extinction. Way different than shooting a wolf that's in your field. People seem to forget who was there first. I agree it's shitty losing cattle to a wolf, but that's kind of the risk you take raising cattle where wolves live. Put up better fences and get some dogs. Owning cows doesn't give anyone the right to hunt an animal to extinction! Wolves very rarely attack humans.
