According to a press release, two males had left a bar at 301 Main St. and were involved in a verbal and physical altercation. After midnight on Friday, Longmont police responded to the two individuals in front of 321 Main St., just past the bar. During the altercation, one of the individuals was shot. The shooter then called 911 and remained on scene until police arrived, according to Longmont Public Safety. One man was pronounced dead."
