They have said more than once that they do not think the shooting was random and that it was a drive by. Looks like its probably gang related.. Oh, and it sucks the kid is dead but unsurprisingly he is not White.

On Thursday, DPD said the shooting did not appear to be random and that the victim was the intended target.
Anyone with information was asked to contact the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000."
