EV owners should be liable for this, which will force the EV manufacturers to be liable for this

Make it illegal to raise insurance rates on ICE owners

However true that might be.. they will do the exact opposite. They want everyone to have an EV if anything at all and they want the range to be sub 100 miles. If anything, they will make taxes on ICE far higher.
