"Some residents believe affluence played a factor." Well, no shit? Anyone with any money living near a place like what they want to open will use to to squash plans like this. That and they might "know someone" to keep one from getting built. Not a single resident in the Metro area wants one of these near them. It will increase crime, drug use, etc.. overnight.
