This same motel was shut down by the city due to crime days later on Sept. 28. Police did not release any information on the circumstances surrounding the shooting, however, the shutdown order for the hotel from the city says that on Sept. 25, a homicide occurred on the premises involving a resident of the hotel shooting an individual through their room door."
