Right, because a contactless method of payment has always been such a -great- idea. I mean, it works pretty great in high-trust society's and whatnot but all of this "diversity" creates the exact opposite of high-trust.
In this case.. Its a bit more clever since they are basically destroying the tap-to-pay sensor so the person has to swipe...on a machine that a skimmer has been installed on.
