No town is safe in the Denver metro. Most of the crime is East Denver or downtown but as this sub shows.. no part of the metro area is untouched. There has also been a lot of auto theft in Erie but that never makes the news anymore since Colorado has the worst auto theft in the country. Surveillance footage obtained from neighbors reveals the suspects in the area just before 6 a.m. committing a half a dozen trespasses. In one instance, considered a burglary, the suspects entered an open garage door and rummaged through the two vehicles parked inside. The suspects, a male and female were associated with a 4-door silver sedan with no front plate. The male was wearing a blue hoodie, blue shorts with white shoes, and a blue hat with a red brim. The female is wearing sandals, glasses, long hair, and clothing unknown. "
