The Aurora Police Department (APD) tweeted just after 10:30 p.m. that two people, both males, were shot while inside a car and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
A third person in the car, also male, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries but was not shot, police said.
APD said it appears the shooting happened while they were traveling on East Hampden Avenue near South Parker Road.
