If you do not want to be a shit hole 3rd world country you have to make people take responsibility for their crimes and remove them from society if the crime is bad enough.
Progressives love to talk about Singapore. What they don't like to talk about is that if you have a large enough amount of drugs on you they will prosecute you for distribution and in 24 hours they execute you by public hanging. You don't hear about Singapore having a fentanyl crisis like Colorado do you?
