They want to trap you in a "smart city prison" but they don't want you to know about it. They bring this up every now and then but then quietly just implement it when you are not paying attention.
If nothing else, search for "The dangers of 15 minute city" and see how much its a "conspiracy theory" and that the pushback is "ludicrous".

General idea of a 15 minute city (listen to the video for the nasty details). "The 15-minute city is an urban planning concept in which most daily necessities and services, such as work, shopping, education, healthcare, and leisure can be easily reached by a 15-minute walk or bike ride from any point in the city."
More realistic statement: You will be confined to a 15 minute walk-able area. If you leave that area for any reason you will pay a fine to do so. Fines will stack the more areas you travel to and probably without limit. This includes nation or international travel. It will also dictate what you are allowed to eat and how much. You will have no choice in the matter.
